Summer to Fall: Fashion

I am so excited for colder weather! There is nothing I love more than starting to layer clothes with sweaters, button downs, scarves and more! Here are a few essentials from fall that are brand new in the stores!

Summer to Fall Fashion

Graphic Tees to Graphic Sweaters

C Wonder Sweater

This past summer was all about the graphic tee. A great way to transition into fall is with a cute graphic sweater. I love the cat sweater on the left from C Wonder. Also, one of my favorite things to do with a graphic sweater is to put a button down underneath to add depth, a pop of color and to dress up the outfit.

Crop Tops to ScarvesOld Navy Scarf

Crop tops have about the same amount of material as a scarf…maybe even less, so they are the perfect transition from a summer staple to a fall must have. Scarves are the perfect addition to any outfit this fall. Even with some hotter days still slipping in you can wear a light-weight scarf to layer amp up the outfit.

Dark Denim from GapShorts to Dark Denim

Now that summer is passing, it is time to put away the funky, bright shorts and make room for a nice, dark pair of jeans. Wearing dark denim is a classic look that is a staple in a fall wardrobe. Investing in a pair that does not have holes or any distinguished stitching is essential. Personally, I prefer to wear skinny jeans in the fall as they easily fit into booties and boots.

Sandals to Booties

Jack Rogers BootiesAs the weather gets colder so do my toes when wearing sandals! I am so excited to bring out my pair of booties. Booties are the perfect addition to a fall outfit. They are shorter than boots, look great paired with dresses or denim and give you some extra height, think closed toe heels. These new booties fromย Jack Rogers, to the left, are adorable with the scalloped edges!

What are some of your fall fashion must haves!?
